IIPLE - Istituto professionale Edile

The Institute for Vocational Training of Construction Workers in the province of Bologna (I.I.P.L.E.) was established in 1947 and for more than 65 years it has provided training for all professional profiles in the construction industry, in order to update, qualify and refine employees in the construction sector, as well as professionals and young people who wish to join this sector.
It is an Institute for Training provided by the Collective Labor Agreement in the construction industry and is managed by a board of directors made up equally from The Association of Businesses and The Workers Trade Union.
In addition I.I.P.L.E. is an institute with a quality system certified by DNV UNI EN ISO 9001/2008 and is accredited by the region of Emilia-Romagna in the areas of Compulsory Education, Higher Education, Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning, Special User Groups, and Apprenticeships.
In pursuit of its goals I.I.P.L.E. cooperates, in agreement or in partnership, with public and private institutions, other training organizations, companies, research centers, universities, technical institutes, and professional associations, using a management structure consisting of a directorship, an administration, a staff of instructional coordinators as well as a team of teachers, who are all experts with proven professionalism and competence.

The School of Building/Construction is part of a national system which has its coordination body in the National FORMEDIL, which groups together over 100 building/construction schools throughout Italy. Furthermore it is part of the Formedil Emilia-Romagna consortium which is responsible for promoting research and training amongst the integrated network of 10 schools in the region of Emilia-Romagna.

To help reduce the number of accidents at work by identifying the complex series of causes from which they originate, the two parties involved (the Association of Businesses and the Building Construction Union) have decided to initiate the Joint Committee on Territorial Operations (CPTO) in the province of Bologna at I.I.P.L.E. . The main task of the CPTO is the promotion of information, the development of training initiatives and basic counseling for the prevention of accidents along with the dissemination of principles for safety and health protection for workers in the construction industry.

 

CDS - Centro ricerche Documentazione e Studi

CDS, Documentation and Research Center of Ferrara, works in the areas of socio-economic research, territorial analysis, advice to companies and organizations, planning.
In relation to IN.TRA-WORK project, CDS he has for years been engaged in the study and research of innovative training methods that combine the knowledge acquired through the study with Experience gained from work. Ferrara can boast in this field a leading position in Italy, as it has been, and still is, theater significant experiments in this area. The CDS has always promoted the dissemination and implementation of these good practices at both the local and national level, by providing governments, universities, businesses and Education and Professional Training, its know-how.

CDS  has been dealing with the school-to-employment transition since 2001, particularly in identification of firms with professional needs, identification of requirements and their transformation into competences, directing young people towards the employment market, accompaniment and coordination of the selection interviews, facilitation of the intersection of demand and supply, accompaniment at the company.

 

IRES - Istituto Ricerche Economiche Sociali

"IRES Emilia-Romagna, Istituto Ricerche Economiche Sociali", was founded in 1982 by the CGIL of Emilia-Romagna. It carries out research, documentation, archiving and data processing and collaborates with Associations, Institutes and Universities. It also promotes meetings, conferences and seminars.
Since 2006 IRES ER has researched activities to promote education funded within the Inter-professional Funds of contractual nature. From there onwards more than 72 thousand course participants have been analyzed for about 5 thousand companies.

The research institute, also with the scientific endorsement of the Department of Educational Sciences of the University of Bologna, has fielded a series of research activities that have the purpose of studying the entire cycle of training activities:
starting from the  identification of the trainees needs, co-planning, and subsequent monitoring phases, to the last analysis of the impacts that the training interventions have had on the performance of the subjects involved.

 

 

VSRC - Vilniaus Statybininkų Rengimo Centras

VšĮ Vilniaus statybininkų rengimo centras/Vilnius Builders Training Centre (VSRC) is a vocational institution providing vocational education and training for young people (from 15 years of age) and adults (retraining courses). The Centre was founded in 1946 and is one of the main providers of quality vocational education and training in Lithuania. The Centre offers a diverse range of courses and excellent facilities in the main area of Building and Construction. Areas of study include: Brickwork, Joinery and Carpentry, Decoration/Finishing, Furniture making, Landscaping, Restoration/ Refurbishment, Building electrician, Plumbing, Real estate services. The Centre is a leading institution at national level in the continuing training system of the building sector. Its main experience is the methodological expertise in life-long learning, development of qualifications and training schemes. The Centre is certified with ISO EN 9001 since 2013.

The total number of students studying at the Centre is 1100, and the number of teaching staff is 90. The training is performed in the workshops and laboratories equipped with up-to-date machinery and tools. All staff at the Centre have gained valuable, first hand experience working in their chosen fields. VSRC has established close networking links with employers and local industry, Vilnius College, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, which ensure that the courses prepare students for the careers they intend to pursue.

Since 1999 the Centre has been actively involved in different national and European projects and has developed close cooperation with a number of European VET institutions. In 2015 the Centre became one of the 14 VET organisations in Lithuania to be awarded the Erasmus+ Mobility Charter.

 

FLC - Fundación Laboral de la Construcción

In 1992 the National Construction Confederation (CNC), CCOO Construction Services and by Construction and Allied UGT, Federation of Industry (MCA-UGT), composed a Board to create and manage jointly this non-profit entity which is the Foundation. Fundación Laboral de la Construcción works to provide businesses and workers the necessary resources to promote a more professional qualified and educated construction sector.

The FLC gets its financial support from the sector through a compulsory fee, established in the General Agreement, which is paid by every and each construction company; as well as public funding for giving training courses both to workers and unemployed people from the construction sector.

FLC aims:

  • Promotion of vocational training;
  • Promotion of research and development of measures to improve health and safety in the building site;
  • Promotion of measures to improve the labor market and create and facilitate a professional accreditation card (TPC).

As a result of years of dedication and effort, and with the support of many professionals, the Foundation is today a reference in the construction sector and a key partner working with and for the future of businesses and professionals. With more experience and knowledge at its disposal, FLC works to ensure that occupational risk prevention, training, innovation, sustainability and new technologies help to continue to build the progress that FLC believes possible.

In addition to this, the FLC manages national and international projects with different scopes:

  • Research on economic issues, occupational profiles, professional qualifications, health and safety and training in the construction sector;
  • Development of new technologies applied to training (web 2.0, training simulators, new software applications, etc.).

Moreover, we have developed over 100 guides on different subjects relating to construction and best practices.

In May 27th of 2003, the Foundation obtained the Company Registration Certificate, and the right to use the AENOR trademark, with number ER-0755/2003 and the use of the IQNET trademark, applicable to the design and delivery of training programs, which has been continuously renewed to this day.

Thus, to build a better world is FLC challenge and that of each of the people that make up it, working at every one of the 17 Councils the Foundation manages throughout Spain to be closer to you.

We are, eventually, an institution which ensures the training as a support point, for companies and workers further progress on the path of progress and recovery.

 

 

CCI - Camera de Comert si Industrie

Cluj Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI Cluj) is an autonomous, non-governmental, apolitical organization representing the interests of the local business environment and its members. By virtue of its history, mission and scope it is the most powerful business association in Cluj County, Romania.The Chamber curently has over 700  member companies.  It is part of the Romanian National Chamber Network, the Eurochambers and the International Chamber of Commerce.

The Court of Commercial Arbitration attached to the CCI Cluj was created as a permanent non-corporate arbitration institution for the settlement of trade disputes.

Furthermore, CCI Cluj is a founder and active member in the Employers Association of Training Providers in Romania (http://www.apffp.ro/), the North-West Regional Pact for Employment and Social Inclusion (www.stp-nv.ro), the Institute of Economic and Social Training (http://ifes.ro/) and the main shareholder at EXPO –Transilvania SA, the second largest exhibition center in Romania.

Additional activities of the Chamber include: Lobbying; Business contacts, trade missions, business partnerships & match making; International cooperation, through the Romanian and Eurochambers networks and partnerships with other institutions; Business information for investors; Consulting and assistance (legal, international trade, standardization, project management); Training & career development, European projects implementation.

The sources of financing of the Chamber are the revenues from the services it provides and  membership fees.  The quality management system implemented and certified by BUREAU VERITAS is ISO 9001.
